Job Description
The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate must be autonomous, detail-oriented, and possess strong teamwork skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics on vehicles
- Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer standards
- Perform safety inspections and recommend required repairs
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and tools
- Document completed work clearly and professionally
- Collaborate with service advisors and other team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Desired Profile
- Diploma in automotive mechanics or relevant experience
- Experience in automotive diagnostics (major asset)
- Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and technologies
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Valid driver’s license
